DonaldLivingston.com is the personal website and blog of Donald Livingston (yours truly). I’ve put this site up as a creative outlet and a mental workbench to hammer out any thing that might be on my mind. I’m also working on a separate site infinitemonkeystudio.com to host my professional freelance Web and Graphic Design work.

I’m a guy who loves to laugh, with an off-beat (and slightly warped) sense of humor. I make it a rule to laugh at least once a day no matter how bad the day gets.

I’m a Techno/Computer/Science Geek in both hobby and profession, and I enjoy anything which allows me to be creative.

Physically, I’m a big guy. I have started to going to the gym regularly, and I’ve lost 30lbs since the beginning of the year, but I’m not anything approaching “athletic.”

I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. I also enjoy games of all kinds (card games, board games, computer games, and role-playing games). I’m not much into organized sports (with the exception of the occasional football game) but I do enjoy getting together for informal pickup games.

I’m a Latter-Day Saint (Mormon), and my faith is very important and sacred to me. I’m not always the best behaved Christian, but my testimony is deep and sincere. And while I have a laundry list of character defects, I would rather be thought a poor Christian, than one who simply claims to admire Christ’s teachings.

Personality wise, while I enjoy being around other people I am something of an introvert. I can talk passionately and at length on topics that interest me, but unless I feel I have something valuable to add I’m usually content to let others take the lead in conversations.

I enjoy music, and my tastes are rather eclectic. I also enjoy singing, and while I’m not a trained soloist, I love taking part in a choir when opportunity permits. (I sing Bass/Baritone BTW)
